Container sales :
We as Blue max group of companies are involved in container buying and selling for the past decade. We are interested to buy and sell any type of containers in India as well, in any other part of the world.
In general, in India container buying and selling activites are of two types, one is for 'Domestic purpose' and another is for 'International Export purpose'.

Domestic Purpose:
As per Indian customs, the container which is made out of steel also treated as imports into India along with the cargo which the container is carrying. The cargo is being cleared by the respected Importers after fullfilling the formalities of Indian customs. But the containers are to be reexported within the time stipulated by the Indian Customs or the container will be treated as 'Import to India' and thus the owner of the container or his agents have to complete the customs formalities (assesing / paying duty) in order to use the container for domestic purpose.

Re Exports purpose :
The containers are being bought in India for reusing the same with the export cargo or reposition as empty to various destination as per the buyer's wish. In this aspect once the containers are sent back to any such destination, the customs formalities should be completed by the shipping company who have filed the manifest for the container when landed.
